Hellins Lecture by Bishop Matthew, Bishop of Southwest Tanganyika Sunday 24 July, 3.30pm at St Asaph Cathedral: Bishop Matthew will give his lecture on Christianity in Africa after Evening Prayer. His talk will be entitled The joy of serving God in the Anglican Church. This year, the Diocesan Offering is going to support a farming venture run in Bishop Matthew's diocese to support a number of projects. The Celtic service will be held in St Thomas' centre, PenYCae at 7pm on Wednesday 6th July 2022 (06/07/2022). We are hopinng for nice weather so that the event is able to be held outside. More information can be seen on our social media pages.
Covid restrictions have been eased again as from Easter Sunday. Communion is now offered in both kinds (bread and wine) but of course it is a personal decision whether you receive in both kinds. Palm Sunday 10th April. Palm Sunday procession in Ruabon meeting at the welfare hall at 9:30am followed by a non eucharist service of the passion at 10am in St Mary's. Hot cross buns in the church hall after the service.
